About Founder

Founded by Dr. Crystal Jordan, L.H.D., Auesomely Her™ was created to document women whose work shapes systems, communities, and culture — not just in public-facing moments, but through sustained, real-world impact.

Dr. Crystal Jordan, L.H.D. is also the founder of Auesomely You Magazine, a publication rooted in advocacy, inclusion, and intentional storytelling that centers lived experience, community impact, and voices often overlooked in traditional media. Auesomely Her™ serves as its sister brand, expanding that vision to focus specifically on women whose work creates measurable, system-level change.

Prior to launching Auesomely Her™, Dr. Crystal Jordan, L.H.D. previously owned and led a women’s empowerment magazine, where she witnessed firsthand both the influence women-centered media can have and the growing misuse of empowerment as a marketing label rather than a lived value.

In that space, empowerment was often positioned as branding — something spoken publicly, while behind the scenes, integrity, accountability, and how women treated one another did not always align with the message being promoted. Observing how empowerment could be championed outwardly while women privately tore down those they were in business with revealed a critical gap in women’s media.

That realization made one thing clear:

The media needed something different.

Through that experience, Dr. Crystal Jordan, L.H.D. began asking a more difficult — and necessary — question:

When no one is watching, are women who lead empowerment brands living the values they promote — or does integrity stop when the spotlight fades?

In a media landscape saturated with empowerment branding, the word itself has often become a buzzword — polished for public consumption while disconnected from accountability, integrity, and how women treat one another behind closed doors. The gap between what is said publicly and what is practiced privately became impossible to ignore.

Auesomely Her™ was created in response to that gap.

This magazine is built on impact over empowerment. Empowerment speaks to how something feels; impact speaks to what actually changes. Auesomely Her™ is different because of who is featured, why they are featured, and how their stories are documented.

Beyond storytelling, Auesomely Her™ is intentionally designed as a training ground for the future of journalism and media. Through a structured youth editorial model, the magazine invests in young writers, reporters, and editors — shaping the next generation of media leaders with standards, ethics, and purpose.

This publication does not exist to compete in the empowerment space.

It exists to raise the standard.
